Purpose
The NAACP Ozaukee County Branch recognizes the many contributions
Evelyn B. Hughes made to the Mequon-Thiensville community. In her name, the NAACP Branch of Ozaukee County annually awards $500 to honor a member of Ozaukee County school districts for her or his promotion of multicultural awareness and racial harmony within the context of the school community.
